Community. Support. Compassion.
You’ll find all of the above at Promont Wellness. Our outpatient treatment program in Pennsylvania is our least intensive level of care, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t effective. Through outpatient rehab, you’ll be able to continue building on the progress you made during your time in a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program while still having the flexibility to live at home and continue working or going to school.
Recovery is about more than detoxing from drugs or alcohol or attending therapy sessions—it’s about rebuilding your life and finding a new sense of purpose. Our outpatient treatment program can help you do just that.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your recovery, contact us today at 866.939.4243. Our team is ready to answer any questions you may have about our addiction treatment programs.
What to Expect in an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program
Outpatient addiction treatment programs provide many of the same services as an inpatient program, but on a less intensive level. You’ll still receive therapy, medication as needed, and education about addiction and recovery in outpatient rehab, but you won’t be living at the treatment center. Instead, you’ll be able to return home each day or evening.
Outpatient treatment programs are often a step down from partial hospitalization programs or intensive outpatient programs. They’re a good option for people who have made progress in their recovery but need a less intensive level of care.

The Importance of Ongoing Support in Recovery
Addiction can impact every aspect of your life. Your relationships, your job, and your mental and physical health—all can suffer as a result of substance use disorders. Overcoming addiction is a lifelong journey. There’s no “cure” for addiction, which is why ongoing support is so important.
Ongoing support can:
- Help you stay accountable
- Encourage you to maintain sobriety
- Provide a sounding board for your thoughts and feelings
- Offer practical advice for dealing with triggers and cravings
- Help you find new meaning and purpose in life
It can be difficult to find and maintain sobriety without participating in several levels of care. Promont Wellness’s team will support you every step of the way as you transition from one level of care to the next.
How Our Outpatient Rehab Program in Pennsylvania Can Help You Heal
A range of therapies and services are available at Promont Wellness to help you heal in both mind and body. From individual sessions with a therapist to groups focused on specific topics like trauma or grief, we’ll work with you to create a treatment plan that meets your unique needs.
A few of the topics that you might cover in therapy include:
- Trauma – Many people with addiction have experienced trauma, which can take the form of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. If you’ve never addressed the trauma you’ve experienced, it can be difficult to stay sober. In therapy, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the ways trauma has affected you and develop tools for managing triggers and cravings.
- Mental health – Addiction often occurs alongside other mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, or PTSD. If you’re struggling with your mental health, it can be difficult to maintain your recovery. In therapy, you’ll be able to talk about the ways your mental health affects your addiction and develop coping mechanisms for dealing with difficult emotions.
- Life skills – In order to maintain your sobriety, you’ll need to develop new life skills. This might include learning how to budget your money, cook healthy meals, or deal with stress in a healthy way. In therapy, you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills and practice using them in real-life situations.
