Dr. Jennifer Wilkinson is a board-certified psychiatrist with specialized training in both addiction and forensic psychiatry. She completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she received extensive hands-on experience in treating substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. She went on to complete a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Rutgers University, further deepening her expertise in addiction treatment, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
Dr. Wilkinson believes that compassionate, evidence-based care should always meet people where they are. She specializes in treating individuals navigating addiction, mental health challenges, or both—helping them find their footing and move forward with confidence. She’s especially passionate about making mental health care feel human, hopeful, and tailored to each person’s story.
