Kate McGinley, MS

Therapist

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and Clinical Mental Health from Holy Family University. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she has supported children, adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of therapeutic settings—including partial hospitalization programs, eco-systemic family therapy, crisis residential services, emergency departments, case management, and acute crisis intervention.

Kate’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered. She is committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. Drawing from various evidence-based modalities—including psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused techniques—Kate tailors her work to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.

In addition to her clinical work, Kate is actively involved in suicide prevention efforts within her community. She serves as a certified QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) trainer and is a frequent guest speaker at mental health conferences and podcasts.

Outside of her professional life, Kate enjoys running through Tyler Park, diving into a good book, and spending quality time with her family in Sea Isle City.
